Training for Research Development Managers

You're sourcing training that earns the budget. The provider needs to understand the RDF, the Vitae context and the procurement reality of running cohorts across funded schemes. The training itself needs to land, not just inform, so attendees use what they've learned the next working day.

You're often the person who makes the call on what training your researchers and ECRs receive and you're often the person held accountable for whether it changed anything. The challenge isn't finding training; it's finding training that survives first contact with a Wednesday afternoon and the demands of a PhD project on top.

I design and deliver training that's practical first. Sessions are interactive on Zoom, accessible by design (so mixed-confidence cohorts all make progress) and structured around what attendees can do the next day. We don't lecture; we work through real problems your researchers bring with them.

Bookable in-house for your DTP, doctoral college, or research office, or as an open cohort with other institutions. Cohort minimum is six; maximum is unlimited (Zoom session design scales without compromise on engagement).
